Wire...fish?

Well, as much as I do bemoan wireless, it's also fair to point out that I only deal with the customers that have problems. Hopefully that is still a minority. I also have to admit that the wirelss adapter recently procurred for Willy's Xbox is f-ing cool.

It's also worth noting that Cisco and Linsys are actually same company, with the former acquiring he later some months ago. But the Cisco name is still the truly high end stuff. I had the pleasure of dealing with a Cisco wireless router the other day and the signal strength was amazing. Roughly 80 feet and 4 rooms away and the strength meter was still pegged at full.

Wireless!

I'm totally behind the times...but wireless is so cool! I just bought a Linksys wireless card, jammed it in, and apparently, a bunch of networks are already in the air of my apartment. A recent New York Times article reported on the hazy ethics (or lack thereof) of piggy-backing on others' connections, but so far, I feel no guilt...and it's so damn fast. My entire campus is hooked up too, so it's kind of amazing.
