It's great and it makes me wish I could hear a raucous live version. And the choppy new rhythm guitar part for the verse works so much better than the constant hum of power chords. The end (just guitar) part would might go well with a Lennon or Cobain repeated mantra like ("but it's never crass"? "and it's gonna last"? or "python in your heart-shaped ass"?) but this might also press it down into tired convention too.
