handclaps, whoa oh ohs, descriptions of snow (a subtle cocaine ref for the kids?!) - it's all good. But what are the keys by katerina?

To respond to all of your comments:

But record companies do release one song at a time--singles. Singles may not sell as much as they did in the sixties, but they're still released, and they certainly still play a powerful role in the hip-hop industry. Also, I think downloading and the itunes store has begun a resurrection of the single as something to sell in itself.

The hand-clap-beat is the opening few bars of a song by Lo-Fi-FNK called 'Unighted', sampled and looped.

Yeah, the vocals are loud. We decided to make them a bit louder than the original mix, because the instrumental backing was just so 'parade down main street' in your face. The vocals had to compete! But, yeah, on headphones they do make me think it may be a bit too loud.

The double-tracking I'm particurly proud of. Particularly, because my RAM could only handle one more track, so I split the two stereo tracks of the two vocal takes, and joined the left from one with the right from the other to create one new stereo vocal track. Also, yeah, I discovered I sing this song the exact same way pretty much every time.

All this to say, thanks!
