Uh
Jacques Derrida passed away. So weird. It's important in the sense that he's one of the Great Thinkers of the twentieth-century, but at the same time, it doesn't personally mean all that much because you never knew him. Oh geez. Death.

Also: I've never actually read (or attempted to read, really) the man's books. Just other people using or defiantly not-using deconstruction and J.D. (New band name just revealed itself: J.D. and the Deconstructionists).
Alright, fess up. I know I'm not the only one that had to google up this guy to find out who the hell he was.
